Hopefully we are back into the blogging world to keep giving you all the information that you might need from the ward. Please mark your calenders for the next few dates:
Friday, February 19th at 6:30pm there will be a ward dinner. This dinner is connected to Ward Conference that will be on Sunday, February 21st. This dinner is for all families. So, please come, eat and socialize! And thank you to all of you who have signed up to help with food for this activity. Don't worry, reminders will be made. :)
Saturday, February 20th at the Jordan River Temple those who can come are asked to participate in the 10 am session. (However, go when ever you are able to. Attending that session is not mandatory.) Also, if you are interested, there are quite a few sealings that need to be done and there will be a group doing sealings at 10 am. If you are interested please contact Jenny Steed for more information.
Sunday, February 21st is Ward Conference. Same time and same place as a normal Sunday.
As of January our ward will be meeting at 11 am. And the activity night will be changed to Wednesday evenings for the youth. Hope you all have a Happy New Year!
Just a reminder for our fabulous Super Saturday: it'll be from 9-Noon this Saturday in the Primary Room. Come to socialize, eat yummy breakfast foods, make Christmas tags and have fun! Hope to see you there!
Sunday is the last day to pay for the crafts at Super Saturday. All checks, money need to be given and made out to Jenny Steed. Also, Sunday is the last day to sign up for crafts since we need to get the orders in to some companies. If there are any questions, please contact Jenny Steed. Thanks!
Just a little reminder that the recipe group is meeting Wed., Oct. 28th at 7pm at Jenny Steed's house and we are doing Crock Pot recipes. This will be a lot of fun! Please come if you can. And don't worry about bringing something if you can't-- just come!
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the prophets.
Amos 3:7
Words from the Servants of the Lord
"...Each time you and your companion prepare to go visiting teaching, you just need to remember what success will be. It will be more than getting in the door. It will be more than giving a message. It will be more than asking how you can help. Success will come perhaps only after many visits. And you may not in this world see the evidence that you have succeeded. But you can feel by the Spirit if you are on the way."
